Dr. Edward V. Horton grew up in Dillon, SC. He graduated Clemson University in l965, with a B.S. in Pre-Med and received his DDS from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, Virginia Commonwealth University in l969. He served four years as a dentist in the United States Army achieving the rank of Major. He was board certified in Virginia and is currently certified by the South Carolina Board of Dental Examiners. Since l973, Dr. Horton has practiced general dentistry in the Myrtle Beach area. He is a member the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the Pee Dee District and the Grand Strand Dental Societies. Dr. Horton and his wife, Elaine reside in Myrtle Beach and are members of Ocean View Baptist Church. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. Dr. Horton’s hobbies are fishing, kayaking, military history, photography. Dr. Robert S. Merritt was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2001, with a B.S. in Biology and received his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 2005. He was board certified by the state of South Carolina in 2005. Dr. Merritt has been practicing general dentistry in the Myrtle Beach area since 2005. He is an active member of the South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Grand Strand Dental Society. Dr. Merritt looks forward to continuing his practice of dentistry in the Myrtle Beach area for many years to come. Dr. Merritt and his wife, Kelli and their daughter reside in Myrtle Beach and are members of Trinity Episcopal Church. The family also enjoys their yellow lab, Carter.
