Dr. Robert S. Merritt was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2001, with a B.S. in Biology and received his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 2005. He was board certified by the state of South Carolina in 2005. Dr. Merritt has been practicing general dentistry in the Myrtle Beach area since 2005. He is an active member of the South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Grand Strand Dental Society. Dr. Merritt looks forward to continuing his practice of dentistry in the Myrtle Beach area for many years to come. Dr. Merritt and his wife, Kelli and their daughters reside in Myrtle Beach and are members of Trinity Episcopal Church. The family also enjoys their yellow lab, Carter. Dr. Merritt’'s hobbies and interests are water activities, sports, snow skiing, fishing, reading, and family time.
